The top half of Surrey, roughly between the M25 and the North
Downs is a mix of well-kept towns and pleasant countryside scattered
about with the affluent homes of the rich and famous. This is the
Stockbroker Belt Surrey’s mild climate and proximity to the capital has
attracted the better off for centuries. The North Downs which stretch from Guildford in the west and Dorking in the east and then on into Kent, divides the county north and south.
