Paymentshield home insurance is available to new or existing mortgage borrowers and covers up to £300,000 for buildings and up to £40,000 for contents insurance. These limits can be increased, however, up to £500,000 for buildings if you choose to take out "Buildings Extra" and £60,000 for contents cover if you choose to take out "Contents Extra"

The brief, which is both trade and consumer focused, will be rolled out over the following months, and will include a new website through Union Digital.
